Three things Thursday...

Lordy lordy where does time go! I promised to return and all to quickly it is already Thursday!! So here goes three things Thursday!

1. My baby girl turned two this past week! I totally owe her, a blog post and I will have that up soon! But she is the most precious two year old, funny, sweet, smart and down right stubborn this little chick knows how to get exactly what she wants! I honestly can't believe she is two, the years have flown by and that makes me sad that both girls are getting big at a rate faster than I can explain! Oh the many adventures of being two!

2. We had a great time at Sesame Place we are blessed with amazing friends who also have awesome kids. I might be biased but these five kids behave so well, they took turns picking rides and things they wanted to do because we had an age range, the never asked for a single extra thing, like games and treats. They waited in line on a 100 degree day without whining..they were simply amazing and we finally convinced them that they really needed some Ice cream! So I never had to go all big bird on anybody and the extremely handsome husbands were actually very helpful and I think enjoyed themselves as well!! Even if they were checking out chicks while standing in line for a ride....I can't actually blame them here I was checking out this particular chick too...don't Judge!

3. Training is still minimal at best. I cannot seem to kick myself in gear. I will have one run here or there but I have zero motivation. I try every day to get myself psyched about going for a run and then I never get around to it, it drives me crazy but then I don't change my ways. I am unsure what to say for myself and I am hoping I can find my fire SOON!!! On a bright note I had a Dr's appointment yesterday after running up seven flights of stairs they took my Bp, heart rate and Oxygen saturation. My numbers 111/67, Hr 65 and ox sat 99% ummmm is it possible to be fit and fat? My doc said you've got Lance Armstrong's heart! Sweet how can I make it metabolize better?

I once again have a lot of catching up to do! I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Stay tuned I have some giveaways and guests post coming up!!!

Three things Thursday...

Wooot it's mini-Friday and more importantly Three things Thursday! So here are three things you know you were dying to find out!

1. My Vibrams showed up today.....hachichacha I am so excited and yes you say that ha-chi-cha-cha, I hope to get a few miles in them tonight! I went completly barefoot on Tuesday night and got caught in a storm, the wet pavement and my little tootsies were not a good combo! I had quite a few blisters! Ouch! But, running in the rain is AMAZING!

2. Itty Bitty had her 2nd birthday party today! We celebrated at the pool with our dear friends and had a great time! It was hot the water was cool and the kids were fun! But, I have about 20 cupcakes left over and I should have just thrown them in the pool because I love them!!

3. The bestie and I decided we would take are five monkeys beautiful children and are extremely unhelpful when the kids go nuts handsome husbands to sesame place this weekend. Y'all better start praying now...pray first that the husbands survive they will be the first two to feel Elmo's wrath when things get sour... Pray secondly for the kids, that when they start acting up I won't go all big bird on their asses...and then you can pray for K and I in hopes that we will not use our 1/2 marathon training and run and run and ruunnnnnnn....far far a way. I kid I kid I am almost positive this is the only family I could be around day in and day out and not contemplate how to drown them in the water park. But, maybe you should all pray that we just have a safe and fun trip!!

Every on have a great weekend, I may not make it back to blog land before we leave tomorrow! Stay cool this weekend! and Go racers go!

Five fingers darling--and where have you been?

Alright I know I have been a horrible blogger recently in fact terrible blogger and commenter! Sorry guys to say our summer has been busy would be an understatement! I am sure you all understand, and I know your better then me and get your posts and your runs in!

Anyhow my running has been spotty at best but I have decided to crack down this week, we are ten weeks from the Half and I really am out of excuses! This weekend we went camping and all though my miles were slow and hot I Pumped them out and it felt good, minus the smelling bad because I would not take a shower in a public shower part....what I had deodorant don't judge!

Last night I ordered these babies!!! In Fuchsia...yeah PINK!

I am so excited to get them...wooott...I like barefoot running, it is a new challenge and that always keeps me entertained. I am just afraid of the yuckies around here. (yeah I said yuckies I am the MOM of two toddlers what say you?) So I thought I would give these a whirl, I would love to run the half in them. Did I just hear myself post a new goal?? We will see.

Anyhow, all is well and I am not dead, I have been creeping around in little bits on blogs but not commenting! I will be around I promise! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!

Happy Birthday Baby

Izzy at 9 months

Happy fourth Birthday Baby!

To my sweet Isabella!

Where does time go? I was pretty sure five seconds ago I was deciding I wanted to have a baby and today here you are and your four already! Can we just freeze frame? can we stop time? Please? I can't help but notice how much you have changed this year and how you have gone from baby/toddler to kid!

Here is a few ways I would describe you.

Sweeter than a cupcake

Stronger than an OX

More stubborn than a Mule

Filled with sunshine

a total goofball

kind, caring, and loving

Total drama queen!

As smart as a whip

You are beautiful, and smart, you tend to know what you want and pull out all the stops to get it, even if that leaves me pulling my hair out. You have got to be the best negotiator in town, I am almost certain if the ever find Osama Bin Laden they will call YOU in to negotiate with him. (don't be scared, you will win) I think it is beyond adorable how you dress up in fancy clothes and parade around like a princess, mermaid, queen or Mommy.

You and Payton are completely insuperable, you girls play, laugh and giggle so much sometimes that I wonder how long it will last before she is stealing your clothes and you are tying her to chairs. You mother her, comfort her and love her and she looks to you when she needs something, it is often hard to believe that you are only two years apart in age.

Your love of movies comes from Daddy, you two can eat popcorn and watch movies for days! You are funny you will watch a movie once and then reenact it, turning everyone in the house into a character! Daddy is always the hero, you are always the damsel in distress, sissy is always your little minion and I always get to be the villain! I guess that's fair...and I am not bitter about it at all.

Your drive and determination is something I hope you never loose. I wouldn't be shocked to find you trying to turn water into wine and not giving up until you do it.

Your a fine little girl and we wouldn't have you any other way, you have turned from shy little sweet baby, into sweet not as shy big girl! Your laugh is contagious and can get an entire room full of grumpy people laughing hysterically, I hope you always chuckle like that!

May you continue to grow in grace and beauty....and less drama, your a wonderful sister and daughter! We love you more than we can tell you in words and hope you have a fantastic Birthday!

Love always,
Mom
