Ok well maybe I am back for a little bit...but I hope to type more regulary! Unfourtunatly my blogging has been as regular as my running. At first I was ok with not running but now I am starting to feel like a slug. I am starting to crave that runners high! I need it I want it!! Hopefully this pushes me over the edge and I will be getting back out there.
We are in the outer banks of north carolina! Enjoying the beautiful beaches and the cooler tempetures I think I should take adventage and get back out there.
I also have a bit of a delimma! Awhile back I had signed up for the Women's 4 miler! It was my very first race ever! and I had vowed to get back out there and run it again this year. It is a beautiful run and fills extremly fast. I was placed on a wait list and found out today that I have been given a spot! I have not been running but part of me feels like I could totally pound out four miles. Espically if I train smart for the next two weeks! Am I crazy or do I use it as super motivation?
I already know what most of you wonderful runners will say....but I would love to hear you opionin! I seriously hope to be a better blogger!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why you are thinking we would say to not run!! Girl get moving! Get some miles back under you and get ready for that 4-miler. You can't pass up the race when you just barely got a spot :)

ReplyDeleteThis is your chance to get your feet under ya again. Especially since it seems to be an exclusive race...take advantage. Just take it slow and don't get caught up in the RACE. Enjoy all those women your running with and flaunt the fact that you pounded 4 miles without much training. You'll do great!
